TRIEU (T.U.) JACOBS

T.U. Jacobs is a tenacious and dynamic leader who has significant experience building HR infrastructures and directing integrations, leading strategic HR initiatives that position global organizations to achieve broader business goals. She has earned a reputation for her business and technical acumen, having implemented policies, systems, and procedures that modernize and professionalize HR functions in the high-tech and gaming industries. Uniquely positioned to take an organization to its next level of success, T.U. advises executives on how to scale business growth and sustainability by spearheading mindset shifts, new methodologies, and optimized HR operations.

Throughout her career, T.U. has made an impact in organizations across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, food, high-tech, and gaming. T.U. began her career at Microsoft Corporation as a staffing consultant. She excelled at this early role, earning the Star Award for performing among the top 1% of 500 recruiters. She caught the attention of leadership and was chosen to undertake an HR rotation program to become an HR generalist before receiving a promotion to Benefits Business Partner. Since then, she has built an exceptional record of achievement during her subsequent positions with T-Mobile and Amazon, creating an HR structure for virtual environments at the latter. At Amazon, T.U. leveraged her stellar organization and management skills to oversee a remote team of 10 supporting 2,000 employees, a feat unheard of at that time.


At PACCAR, T.U. served as a process improvement evangelist, facilitating employee mobility organization-wide, enhancing talent acquisition, and increasing employee engagement, retention, and development. As Human Resources Director at Taylor Farms, T.U. elevated the company culture and employee morale by creating a better work/life balance and implementing a self-service payroll system that enabled weekly pay.


In 2018, T.U. joined Keywords Studios as US Country HR Manager. Her superior ability to scale and professionalize the entire HR operation was rewarded with a series of promotions into roles of increasing accountability. As Regional Human Resources Director, Head of HR for the Americas, she drew upon her forward-thinking mindset to implement strategic and innovative people and talent solutions and support global expansion. Leading a 100% remote team of HR professionals, she worked collaboratively to fuel the organization’s growth trajectory by adding specialties such as inhouse recruiters, managers, HR business partners, and benefits, talent acquisition, and leave of absence specialists while integrating HRIS NetSuite and the PlanSource benefits administration system. Anticipating the challenges that the pandemic would pose, she expanded HR and payroll/benefits from six to over 32 states, easing internal mobility.


T.U. currently consults CEOs and CHROs of startup and large-scale organizations within the gaming industry on developing solutions to support current and future business needs. As a trusted advisor, she guides clients on how to take proactive steps and leverage performance-based cultures to achieve rapid growth.


T.U. holds a Master of Science in Career and Human Resource Development as class Valedictorian and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
